Project Scope

MCM partnered with Bronson Lakeview Hospital to upgrade the facility’s plumbing, medical gas, and HVAC systems to meet current codes and standards. The project was carefully phased to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff throughout the renovation process. MCM provided a variety of services.

Plumbing Systems:

  • Replaced entire hot and cold domestic water system piping
  • Installed new R/O water system
  • Replaced the entire sanitary waste system

Medical Gas Systems:

  • Replaced all medical gas piping and outlets
  • Designed and implemented a new medical gas mechanical room

HVAC Systems:

  • Replaced chillers and boilers
  • Converted from a two-pipe to a four-pipe system
  • Refurbished or replaced air handling units with new controls
  • Added new VAV boxes with updated controls
  • Designed and installed new room pressure controls for operating rooms, pharmacy, and isolation rooms
  • Implemented a new HVAC DDC controls system to replace outdated pneumatic controls
